Questions

Answers to the questions people ask before they build.

Timeframes, permits, money and where to start. Nothing here is a quote; the feasibility study is where numbers come from.

A question about your block?

Ask about the process, the suburbs, the projects or the reviews. It answers from this site only and never quotes a price.

Do I need an architect before I contact a builder?
No. Noble Ridge Homes has in-house design and works from your brief, your block and your budget. If you already have drawings, they are priced as they are. If you do not, the feasibility study comes first and the design follows from what the block and the budget allow.
How do I start a townhouse development on my block?
Send the address and what you have in mind. The first step is a feasibility study: what the planning scheme allows on that block, what the site conditions will cost, and what each option is likely to return. Most of Noble Ridge Homes's townhouse work is for first-time owner developers, and several clients say so in their reviews.
What suburbs does Noble Ridge Homes build in?
Rosewater's east and south-east, from an office in Ferndale: Ferndale, Ferndale South and East, Huntingdale, Burwood, Elmwood, Chadstone, Mount Waverley, Glen Waverley, Hampton East, Box Hill North, Ormond, Mitcham, Springvale, Ashfield and Kingsmere. Ask about other suburbs; the answer depends on the site.
Is Noble Ridge Homes a registered builder?
Noble Ridge Homes Group Pty Ltd, ABN 50 670 364 986, is a private company registered in Ashgrove. The builder registration number will be published on this page once the client confirms it. Google reviews give the firm 5.0 from 31 reviews, as mirrored by Birdeye on 3 September 2026.
What is a knockdown rebuild and does Noble Ridge Homes do them?
Demolishing an existing house and building new on the same block. Yes. One client describes a three-townhouse site completed within seven to eight months including demolition and the residential permit.
